Lo,the sea! The unbounded sea!
On its breast a Ship starting, spreading all her sails―an ample Ship, carrying even her moonsails;
The pennant is flying aloft, as she speeds, she speeds so stately―below, emulous waves press forward,
They surround the Ship, with shining curving motions, and foam.Lo,the unbounded sea!

見よ 海! 限りない海!
そのうねる胸の上 出帆する船よ 帆の全てを満々と張った雄大なる船よ ムーンスルまで張り上げて
彼女が疾走すれば長旗は高々と翻り 彼女が疾走すれば威風堂々その元では波濤が競う
彼らは船を取り巻き 泡を立て 輝かせる
見よ、限りない海!
